| this
website is about my work and competencies. I have been working with the
development of e-learning and ict and multimedia environments since 1998,
where I got a fulltime education as a multimedia project manager. I have worked with all the elements and problems of e-learning and I am focused on developing high quality and creative e-learning environments for people with low or no education. my basic assumption is, that all e-learning courses should integrate multimedia material and should develop the inclusion competencies and media literacy of the participants. e-learning should mean the end of the classroom teaching of the industrial society. |

believe that the e-learning environment should be supported by multimedia
material, and therefore we have established our own in house multimedia
team, called sosuMedia ["sosu" is short for the danish
"social- og sundhed": social and health]. they
produce online multimedia material for all our e-learning courses. the multimedia material is very important to these target groups: they are not very fond of long academic texts, and they have a very activist and action oriented learning style. our basic concept is, that these productions must be very interactice and based on narrative and storytelling, not on informational knowledge. the material must invite the participants to tell their own professional and personal stories. the discourse of narrative combines the professionality and the personal... - work and life. |

| therefore
we work a lot with scenarios and cases. we use all kinds of media in these
cases, that the participants can access and work with online, in the face
to face sessions, on their job and at home with their families. the concept
of the scenarios is the open narrative. open in two ways: open ended and
not finished on one hand, and open to exploration and change on the other.
the products and experience of the participants will be integrated in
the multimedia website. the scenarios are about the social situations of the clients in the social and health environments. they aim at giving the participants concrete action competencies and inspire them to reflect on their actions. |

| during
these past years I have been working with all kinds of problems within
the e-learning and multimedia erea. from the construction of flexible
communication platforms and teacher training to international networking.
the last couple of years I have specialized in national and european fundraising
- with a special focus on the EU educational programs. I have a very special interest in creating e-learning environments for target groups, who are not supposed to be able to learn, end certainly not e-learn: low educated adults, underserved young people, psychiatric patients, emmigrants, people in prison and so on. if it is true, that the information society should be for all, then it is a great challenge to create new learning possibilities for these large parts of the population. |

mentioned above, we are working with some very interesting projects within
the EU educational programs. our most important projects are: Leonardo
IGUANA, Leonardo MUTUAL and Equal MPOWERMEN2MEN. I am participating in many major european e-learning sessions, often within the EDEN network. I have presented our work in Rhodes, Berlin and Budapest and intend to be very active on the european scene in the next many years. I find it extremely challenging to think about learning in european instead of national terms. in the library, you will find many of the most important presentations and project descriptions - all in english... last but not least we are working as consultants for many european institutions, especially in eastern europe- developing social and health care, multimedia training etc. |

of my very special interests is to analyze, describe and set up flexible
learning platforms. I have done a lot of research in this field and find
it extremely important to evaluate these platforms as to their ability
to support the learning visions and goals of our courses. we have chosen to do our online course communication in first class and here, you can read a little about, how we are using it. |
