The aims of the course
The course is for people within the adult educational environments, who wishes to develop basic competencies to design and carry out transnational educational projects about lifelong learning for adults and young adults.
The aim of the course is to
- train the participants to be able to find the information and resources they need
- train the participants to understand the logic of a European project
- to give the participants practical tools to handle the basic problems in building and coordinating European projects
- to motivate the participants to go out and act on the European scene.
The course will be based on a scandinavian empowerment approach, which means that the major focus will be on supporting the individual participant and on the problem solving activity of the participants. Therefore the number of participants must be limited.
The focus will not be on formal knowledge, but on developing practical competencies and understanding.
Therefore the course will use live case material and practical examples instead of textbooks.
The working language in the course will be english and the course will work with the understanding of the english project concepts.
It is possible to work with participants, who do not speak english, but the hosting institution must then provide a translation resource, who is familiar with the basic english project language.
